Abstract
I share the challenges on the Mexican Electoral quick-count, and how our team worked to tackle them. In particular, I will explain why it was important to follow good practices of software development (version control, code review, containers, …), how R was an important tool to have a successful work-flow, and why we decided to organize the code for election day using the R package structure.
